  Rev Alison Caiola Interview

Whether having a traditionally religious/spiritual ceremony is KEY to you or not, you may feel that customary ceremonies do not allow you to express your love and commitment to each other in your own “intimate” and personal style. And, regardless of your reasons, having a custom ceremony is increasing in acceptance and popularity.

Reverend Alison has pioneered such events and is noted for performing interfaith, non-denominational, spiritual and civil wedding ceremonies in the five boroughs and Long Island; as well as doing baby blessings, namings, and baptisms.

In addition, her penchant for the romantic and the written word, plus her many years experience as an Interfaith Minister allows her to not only create unique and custom ceremonies specifically for each couple, weaving their personalities and experiences into the ceremony, but to also guide them in crafting their wedding vows. It is her goal to make each couple feel like they are being married by a good friend and give guests the impression that she has known the couple for years. That she says, is why she emphasizes a ceremony that is beautiful, unique and fun, as well as one the couple can look back on fondly as they reminisce about their special day.

Taking the most beautiful and meaningful customs and traditions from each couples heritage and backgrounds, Reverend Alison works diligently to weave the best of both worlds into a cohesive, memorable, and touching ceremony that makes an impact on the couple and their guests, making bride and groom, and both sides of the family feel included, represented, and respected, and bringing both the couple and their families together.

She also offers special ceremonies that include a couple’s child or children, should they have any, and making it a special event and celebration for them too.

She does however suggest booking with her as soon as possible giving her and the couple the most time possible to create an inspired and unforgettable ceremony.
